There is a special clip under the denture that grips the dental implant supported retainer bar and holds the denture in place. This is a great way to use dental implants.

          Whenever possible, however, placing more than two dental implants is preferable. The more dental implants holding the retainer bar, the better the support. A dental implant patient can later choose to add more dental implants, throw away the denture and place a fixed bridge onto the dental implants.
